The world-wide situation of the last few months has allowed me to move forward with some things I've been wanting to do for some time.
Up to now, access to our articles has been exclusively focused on this site. I have tried to reach a wider audience by posting links on various social media sites, making printable, PDF[1] versions of articles you can pass along, and getting the site listed on Apple News.
I am happy to announce the implementation of two more outlets for the site. Starting with this article, Practical Distributism will also be available on Anchor.fm[2] and BitChute[3]. I will also post to YouTube for however long it allows the content to be there. This is not a move away from the main site, it is adding additional formats to try and reach a broader audience. Please help spread the word and share these outlets with others. I will also be selecting some past articles to put on these platforms. If you have suggestions on what articles to include, please let me know.
Another thing I am happy to announce is that I am almost ready to publish a new book on the principles of distributism. I am close to complete on the paperback and e-book versions. I'm also starting to record an audio book version that will be released as soon as it's ready.
Practical Distributism has always been a "best effort" project. The contributors, including myself, compose articles around the other obligations of our lives. This results in an irregular publication schedule and sometimes long gaps between articles.
